IA - SUPPORT GROUP

IA 'The Ileostomy & Internal Pouch Support Group' is a national charity that supports people who are about to have, or are living with, an ileostomy or internal pouch as a result of inflammatory bowel diseases.

We redesigned the logo employing a speech bubble element to suggest the Charity's core function of support through dialogue, and re-invigorated the brand using bright positive colours and clear, straight-forward typography. Communicating effectively with all age groups was key for the project. On our recommendation the Charity has adopted RNIB guidelines for usability and accessibility.

With over 85 Member organisations in the UK and Ireland, this national charity is promoted primarily at a local level. Guidelines needed to be clear, concise and practical to be effective at ground roots level.

A brand pack containing a CD of helpful suggestions and useful Word templates helped unify the identity throughout the regions. A tactile and collectable embossed case discouraged disposal.
