PARADOX

Paradox Oils required a packaging redesign for their Omega Oils product.

As a new entrant into a saturated marketplace the packaging design needed to do all the heavy lifting for this fledgling brand.

The solution was to identify the product’s unique selling point (health benefits of an ‘Innuit' or fish based diet) and create an interesting concept that would engage the consumer.

The packaging solution played on the idea of an ‘Eskimo kiss’, using different sides of the box to create interesting juxtapositions between the Innuit characters and the oil’s healthy ingredients.

We encouraged Paradox Oils to become simply 'Paradox' allowing the company room to develop multiple products in the future. Blue then designed a new logo featuring both a tick and a cross which highlighted the paradoxical nature of the oils - eg. fats that are good for you.
